2019 UI/UX DesignTrends

1.Personalised Experiences
Consumers are expecting more from brands. Brands like Netflix have known to curate content recommendations with their proprietary algorithm. Expect 2019 to be the year when data-based design is widely adopted as personalised experience move from a “nice-to-have” to “must-have” category.

2.Unique Illustrations
Illustrations have taken the world by a storm. This also includes UI designs for web and mobile, and not only standalone images.
illustrations open up a big portal to convey the brand’s message and its emotions in a playful way, while at the same time sketching up the brand’s originality.

3.The rise of gestures
This makes it imperative for UX designers to emulate common human gestures in the digital universe and translate it into a smooth experience using swipes, flicks, drags and pretty much anything that counts as natural motion.

4.Oversized headlines
putting more visual weight on an important message you increase changes that users will read it. But to make it happen, you need to add a lot more room for messaging (meaning, use more negative space around the headlines). Spacing and placement of elements can be just as important as the elements themselves.

5.Custom fonts
Brands are bending the conventional serif fonts and customizing them for creating their distinctive identity.

6.Next-level Animation
Similar to illustrations, next-level animation will help establish a visual identity as well.

7.Multi device
By 2020, the number of connected devices per person is expected to be 6.58. That's nearly double since of 3.47 in 2015. The rising number of smart devices available in the market has dramatically changed the way we access information. Mindset is shifting and the trend of focusing exclusively on mobile should be re-evaluated. The approach of ‘mobile-friendly’ or ‘mobile-first’ user experience will be superseded by “multi-device” experiences.
UX designers will be pushed to create a more dynamic experience and think in terms of user journey as a whole — not just in terms of the device being used.

8.Multi layered pages
Depth’ is the buzzword in design world.
On web pages, this is created using multiple layers that float over one another, thus creating an entirely different universe within the webpage.

9.Micro interactions
Microinteractions can include anything and everything like error pages, page transitions, loaders and anything else that you can think of.

10.Unconventional page layout
different and interesting way; it’s something new and hence refreshing.
There are other advantages. Too many sections or too much of text can be accommodated in a stylish way, and yet not look congested.
